Style is also your skin - a suggestion... Get ripped!


There is style and there is looking great. The difference?

Your fitness.

How ripped are you?


Too often we see people that are well dresses, have the right car, all the right accessories and the hot girl on their arm and yet we say "why the hell is she with him?"

What doesn't look right?

The guy doesn't look after himself.

Let's have a look at the great characters of our time; James Bond, Thomas Crown, Maxwell Smart and Danny Ocean. All men around 40 with loads of money, so they can all dress well and drive the right car etc. However what sets them apart is that they look after themselves. They are rich and look fantastic with or without a shirt on.

So here is my secret - it's a 20 minute workout that will help with your fitness and your muscle development enough to cause a change almost instantly.

Here are the steps in order for you. Now, the key is to just start and you will get better with time. When I started I started with ten (10) push-ups, three chin-ups and two dips, so don't stress - JUST START!

1. Run one (1) mile (1.6km)

Pick a route close to home and preferably where you can run down and up hills. Time yourself. Beat that time every time you do it. I have only been doing this for a couple of weeks and I am an awful long distance runner. I am doing this in about 6.5 minutes.

2. Push-ups

Do as many push-ups as you can do without stopping. Aim for 20 to start with.

3. Chin-ups

Do as many chin-ups as you can without stopping. Aim for 3 to begin with.

4. Dips

Do as many dips as you can without stopping. Aim for five. Depending on your size - try for 10.

5. Leg raises - bent knee

Prop yourself up and lift your knees into your stomach 20 times.

6. Leg raises - straight leg

Prop yourself up and raise your feet as high as you can without bending your knees at all 20 times.

You need no equipment, however a chin-up and dip bar to help you out. This way you don't have to find things to hang of to use your own bodyweight to exercise. A good workout station uses your own body weight as resistance. Therefore in the beginning it will be hard, however your muscles will build strength quickly.

I recommend this as a start. Once you get going the reps will increase naturally. This is the great thing about this workout. It's not going to make you look like Daniel Craig over night, however it will build strength quickly and rip up and tone your muscles naturally over time.
